According to CM Yogi, the Holi celebration serves as a symbol of unity

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stated that the Holi festival is about unity, urging everyone to walk in peace with love and cordiality.

On Friday, he took to the social networking platform X to wish everyone a joyous, enthusiastic, and prosperous celebration.

“The festival of Holi is the messenger of unity, which inspires us to walk on the path of harmony with love and cordiality,” stated the Hindu saint.

The CM also prayed to Lord Shri Ram, saying, “I pray to Lord Shri Ram that this festival may fill the lives of all of you with various colours of happiness, prosperity, and renewed enthusiasm.”

Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), tweeted on X, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all compatriots on the occasion of Holi, the festival of colours and gulal. Celebrate it traditionally with excitement, peace, fraternal brotherhood, and harmony.”

Earlier in the day, President Droupadi Murmu expressed her Holi wishes, emphasising the festival’s cultural significance. In her post on X, she wrote, “Heartfelt blessings to all countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival of colours. This joyous holiday promotes unity, love, and harmony. This festival is also a representation of India’s treasured cultural legacy.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also turned to social media to extend his best wishes.

“Best wishes to all compatriots on the festival of joy, excitement, and colours, ‘Holi’. May this festival of colours bring more success, growth, and riches into your lives,” he wrote on X.

On Friday, the nation will celebrate Holi in a spirit of oneness, emphasising the festival’s traditional significance and emphasising the value of togetherness and joy.
