Actors Sunny and Bobby Deol, Dharmendra’s sons, paid him a visit earlier on Monday night. Salman Khan, another Bollywood celebrity, was also spotted arriving at the hospital under strict protection.
After the veteran actor was brought to the Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was also spotted arriving to meet him.
Arriving at the hospital was the actor’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge. Aryan Khan, the actor’s older son, was also spotted visiting the seasoned performer.
Dharmendra is reportedly having respiratory problems and was placed on a ventilator. One of Bollywood’s most enduring and adored stars is Dharmendra. Born in Punjab in 1935, he started his career in the early 1960s after winning a talent hunt. To uncover fresh faces for Hindi cinema, Filmfare magazine and Bimal Roy Productions held a national talent competition in the late 1950s.
Dharmendra participated in the competition and was picked as the champion in 1958 due to his attractive appearance and innate charm. His entry into the film industry was made possible by this triumph. One of the biggest stars in Hindi film, Rajesh Khanna, was later found through the same talent search.
He became well-known very fast thanks to his endearing appearance, nuanced emotions, and smooth on-screen persona. He was able to succeed in humor, action, and romance due to his adaptability. Among his most famous movies are “Phool Aur Patthar,” which made him a starring man, and “Sholay,” in which he played the endearing, humorous Veeru, a role that became legendary.
Action-packed dramas like “Yaadon Ki Baaraat” cemented his reputation as the archetypal Bollywood hero, while “Chupke Chupke” showcased his flawless comic timing. Dharmendra’s charisma and humility have made him a beloved character both on and off screen, even outside of his film career.
