In an exchange statement on Wednesday, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories reported that its net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal year (Q1 FY26) was Rs 1,409.6 crore, a sequential decrease of 11%.
In the previous quarter (Q4 FY25), the company generated a consolidated profit of Rs 1,587.3 crore.
According to the filing, the Hyderabad-based company’s profit increased by just over 1% year over year (YoY) from Rs 1,392 crore in the same quarter last year.
In the meantime, Dr. Reddy’s Labs’ revenue for the reviewed quarter was Rs 8,545.2 crore, up around Rs 40 crore from Rs 8,506 crore sequentially and Rs 872.5 crore year-over-year (YoY) from Rs 7,672.7 crore.
This quarter QoQ, the pharmaceutical company’s overall operating expenses increased by Rs 153 crore, which resulted in a drop in net profit.
Compared to Rs 2,961.6 crore in Q4 FY25, the company’s overall operating expenses in Q1 FY26 were Rs 3,115.2 crore.

According to the filing, the firm and Alvotech have extended their collaboration to co-develop, co-manufacture, and co-commercialize pembrolizumab, a biosimilar candidate, this quarter.
Additionally, it introduced Sensimune, an immunotherapy medication for allergies brought on by house dust mites, in India.
On Wednesday, the company’s stock ended the day in a favorable position. The stock ended the day up 0.65% at Rs 1,248.0.
