India’s commitment to fighting terrorism is emphasized by the Op-Sindoor outreach team in Riyadh

During their meeting with Mushabab Al-Qahtani, Director General of the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute of Diplomatic Studies, the all-party delegation, lead by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda in Saudi Arabia, reaffirmed India’s commitment to fighting terrorism.

“The All-Party delegation led by @PandaJay met H.E. Dr. Mushabab Al-Qahtani, DG, Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute of Diplomatic Studies @KSAPSAIDS & conveyed India’s unwavering commitment to combat terrorism in its all forms,” the Indian Embassy in Riyadh posted on its official X account. The delegation also talked about the strategic alliance between Saudi Arabia and India.

The group met with Suhel Khan, India’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, at India House after arriving in Riyadh early on Wednesday (Indian time).

The group thereafter presented flowers to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the Indian Embassy in Riyadh.

“In honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s enduring message of peace, non-violence, and tolerance, I presented flower tributes to him alongside my colleagues from the all-party group. In our thorough conversation with Ambassador Suhel Khan, we reaffirmed India’s unwavering opposition to terrorism and dedication to world peace,” Panda wrote on X.

The delegation will engage with a variety of political dignitaries, government representatives, thought leaders, businesspeople, and media representatives over the three-day tour. According to a statement from the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, they will also interact with Indian community members.

Following successful engagements in Kuwait and Bahrain, the group traveled to Riyadh to emphasize the importance of Operation Sindoor and India’s ongoing efforts to combat cross-border terrorism sponsored by Pakistan.

“We bring our all-party team to Saudi Arabia with the message that India’s stance on terrorism is firm and unyielding. As we start important meetings to fortify our expanding connection, we are grateful for the cordial greeting from Abdulrahman Alharbi, Chair of the Sura Council’s Saudi Arabia-India Friendship Committee,” Panda said on X.

Panda is leading the group, which also includes Ghulam Nabi Azad, former Indian diplomat Harsh Vardhan Shringla, BJP MP Satnam Singh Sandhu, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, BJP MP Phangnon Konyak, BJP MP Rekha Sharma, and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MP Asaduddin Owaisi.

A wide range of political dignitaries, government representatives, thought leaders, businesspeople, and media representatives will engage with the delegation during the visit. Additionally, they will interact with Indian community members.

The group conducted a number of media appearances and cultural excursions as part of their final day of activities in Kuwait on Tuesday with the goal of enhancing bilateral relations and emphasizing India’s unified anti-terrorism posture.

“The delegation concluded its highly productive visit to Kuwait by effectively conveying India’s message of ‘Zero Tolerance’ and ‘New Normal’ against terrorism to a variety of interlocutors in Kuwait, including the Government, civil society, media, think tanks, opinion-makers and members of the Indian community,” stated the Indian Embassy in Kuwait.
