On the auspicious first day of Shardiya Navratri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed heartfelt wishes to the nation and invoked themes of commitment and determination.

“Infinite Navratri greetings to all of you,” the Prime Minister posted on the social media site X. May everyone experience new strength and faith as a result of this holy event, which is full of devotion, bravery, self-control, and resolve. “Jai Mata Di!

“Today, during Navratri, is the special day for the worship and rituals of Mother Shailputri,” he continued, acknowledging the religious significance of the first day of Navratri, which is dedicated to Maa Shailputri. I hope that everyone’s life will be full of luck and health thanks to the mother’s love and blessings.

The festival’s spiritual and musical aspects were also praised by the prime minister. “Navratri is about pure devotion,” he wrote in a another post, sharing a bhajan by the renowned Pandit Jasraj and encouraging others to share their own devotional music. A lot of people have used music to express this devotion. I’m sharing a particularly moving performance by Pandit Jasraj ji. Please let me know if you have sang a Bhajan or if you have a favorite. Importantly, the introduction of GST 2.0, a significant tax reform intended to streamline India’s indirect tax structure and lower prices on more than 375 items and services, falls with this year’s Navratri. “This time, this auspicious occasion of Navratri is very special,” PM Modi wrote in another post, tying the spiritual and the economic together. During this time, the Swadeshi slogan will get fresh momentum in addition to the GST Savings Festival. Let us unite in joint endeavors to realize the determination for an advanced and independent India.

Rajnath Singh, the minister of defense, too wished people a happy Navratri on social media. “Greetings from the bottom of my heart to everyone on this holy day of Shardiya Navratri. May the blessings of Mother Durga fill our lives with fortitude, devotion, and wealth. Through her grace, may India become a beacon of peace and well-being, reaching greater heights of independence, development, and prosperity,” he wrote in a post.

“Sincerous congratulations and best wishes to all devotees and residents of the state on the sacred festival of worship and adoration of Mother Bhagwati Jagadamba, ‘Shardiya Navratri’!” said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
