In addition to development projects worth Rs 825 crore in Rohtak and Kurukshetra, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will travel to Haryana on Friday to officially open India’s largest dairy production facility.
A state government official revealed information on Thursday, saying that HM Shah will open the recently built Sabar Dairy Plant at IMT Rohtak as part of initiatives to support the cooperative sector. The plant, which was constructed for Rs 325 crore, will contain cutting-edge equipment that the Union Minister will formally commission.
It is anticipated that the plant will provide about 1,000 direct and indirect jobs. With a daily capacity of 150 metric tons of curd, 3 lakh liters of buttermilk, 10 lakh liters of yogurt, and 10 metric tons of sweets, the Sabar Dairy plant is the biggest facility in India for producing curd, buttermilk, and yoghurt.
The spokesperson added that during Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak’s “Khadi Karigar Mahotsav,” HM Shah will also provide tool kits to 2,200 artisans.
“Swadeshi Se Swaavlamban” is the topic of this event, which is being organized by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission under the Ministry of MSME.
Along with Rs 301 crore in margin funds from the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), he will also give new equipment and tool kits during the event.
With the involvement of local artisans guaranteed, this festival is a significant step in supporting indigenous handicrafts and the Khadi industry.
Furthermore, he will launch PMEGP units and speak at a later event. HM Shah will open a five-day exhibition on India’s new criminal laws at Kurukshetra. The goal of the exhibition is to educate the public, parents, students, and attorneys on the latest changes to the criminal justice system.
The exhibition, which is organized into ten themed sections, will emphasize the roles of seven different departments and highlight the accomplishments and changes brought about by the new laws.
