Beginning on Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will travel to Gujarat for three days, attending twenty-five public events in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Sanadar (Diyodar), Vav-Tharad, and surrounding areas.

The visit is planned for December 5–7 and will focus on public welfare infrastructure, urban development, cooperative sector reforms, and cultural outreach in the state.

Shah’s journey will start with the Swadeshi Jagran Manch’s “Swadeshotsav” inauguration at the GMDC Ground in Memnagar.

He will subsequently go to the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar for the final session of NABARD’s Earth Summit 2025.

New public gardens, a yoga studio, a renovated elementary school building, the LC-11 railway overbridge, an under-bridge sports complex, a primary health center, and PNG gas pipeline connections in three villages are among the civic facilities that the Home Minister is scheduled to open on the first day.

He will conclude the day with the Sansad Sports Festival’s closing ceremony and the Ahmedabad Shopping Festival’s launch.

Shah will visit Banas Dairy in Sanadar (Diyodar) on December 6 to lay foundation stones and kick off a number of initiatives.

In keeping with the Center’s ongoing efforts to develop and fortify cooperative institutions across the country, he will also chair a meeting of the Ministry of Cooperation’s Advisory Committee.

The main housing and infrastructure projects in Ahmedabad will be the focus of the visit’s last day, December 7.

Shah will open 350 homes under the Slum Rehabilitation Scheme in Nava Vadaj and 861 EWS dwellings under PMAY in Thaltej.

A PPP-developed Oxygen Park, revitalized lakes at Shakri and Vastrapur, new community facilities, a mini sports complex, and other public amenities are among the other inaugurations.

Prior to attending the Pramukh Varni Amrit Mahotsav, which is being organized by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha at the Sabarmati Riverfront, Shah will also publish the Gujarati version of the book “Challenges Inspire Me,” which is about Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel.
