On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi prayed for the happiness and well-being of every person and sent his best wishes to the country on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
On Wednesday, India celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi, the birth of Lord Ganesha, who is regarded as the deity of wisdom and prosperity and the remover of obstacles.
Prime Minister Modi wrote on X, “I hope you everyone have a wonderful Ganesh Chaturthi. May everyone be blessed by this auspicious event, which is full of faith and dedication. I ask Lord Gajanana to grant all of His followers joy, serenity, and good health. “Bappa Morya Ganpati!”
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, too expressed his hopes and prayed for people’s well-being.
“Happy Shri Ganesh Chaturthi, an auspicious holiday, to everyone. He wrote on X, “I pray to Ganpati Bappa for happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life.”
“Heartfelt greetings to all of you on the sacred festival of Ganesh Chaturthi,” wrote Rajnath Singh, the minister of defense, in a social media message. May all of our lives be filled with joy, tranquility, and prosperity by Vighnaharta Shri Ganesh Ji. May India keep moving forward on the path of harmony, unity, and growth with His blessings. “Bappa Morya Ganpati!”
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, also used X to offer prayers on the occasion.
“We extend our warmest greetings and warmest wishes to all state citizens and devotees on the auspicious ‘Shri Ganesh Chaturthi‘ festival of devotion of Lord Shri Ganesh, the destroyer of impediments! He wrote, “May Lord Siddhivinayak grant everyone joy, wealth, and good health.”
Over the course of ten days, exquisitely constructed idols of Lord Ganesha are placed in houses, and public pandals are decked out with flowers, lights, and customary treats like modaks.
Over the course of the ten-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebration, which includes prayers, aartis, and communal celebrations, idols are submerged in water during the Visarjan, which is celebrated with chanting of “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”
