Indian expats in Dubai celebrated the 11th anniversary of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government on Tuesday, stating that since Prime Minister Modi took over as leader of the nation in 2014, India’s reputation has grown significantly on a global scale.

The Indian diaspora in the Middle Eastern nation also commended PM Modi’s leadership and his 11 years in office, the Indian diaspora told IANS.

Tarun, a non-resident Indian (NRI) residing in Dubai, stated: “I currently reside in Dubai and hold a Canadian passport. The 11-year term of Prime Minister Modi has been outstanding. The Prime Minister has significantly raised Indians’ regard abroad. India has gained far more respect wherever PM Modi has gone. Many NRIs, like myself, are excitedly awaiting PM Modi’s impending return to Canada, this time for the forthcoming G7 Summit. Additionally, I’ll be coming to Canada with a unique curriculum of my own.”

Speaking about India’s strong growth under PM Modi’s direction during the past 11 years, he stated, “Because he has advanced the nation internationally, PM Modi’s popularity has grown internationally as well. PM Modi’s efforts in the digital realm are praiseworthy. He has served all facets of society, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, or neighborhood. At the international level, he has greatly increased India’s respect.

“PM Modi held a public meeting in the United Arab Emirates (UAE),” stated Gopal, another member of the diaspora. This is the first time I have witnessed a prime minister holding a meeting in the 52-year history of the United Arab Emirates. Not even the municipal authorities here convened a meeting. It seemed fair during PM Modi’s public gathering. The locals were taken aback by the large number of people present and wondered who had arrived.

Shekhar Bhatia, another member of the Indian diaspora, stated: “I have spent the last 35 years residing in Dubai. India’s standing in the UAE has significantly improved during the past eleven years. PM Modi’s trip to the United Arab Emirates was momentous. India’s international image has significantly improved. Our economy has grown thanks in large part to the efforts of the Narendra Modi administration.
