Following the alliance’s triumph in the Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a luncheon for all NDA Members of Parliament on Thursday at his official residence in New Delhi.
The Punjabi floods caused the dinner, which was originally scheduled for the previous Parliamentary session, to be postponed.
All NDA MPs are anticipated to attend the event, according to sources. Coordinating with MPs from their different regions has been delegated to senior Union ministers.
West Bengal and Odisha MPs’ plans are being supervised by BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. At the same time, coordination for MPs from the Northeastern states has been given to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.
Eight MPs from various coalition partners and BJP MPs will be seated at each of the nearly 54 tables set up for the supper.
Additionally, a Union Minister will be seated at each table, and during the meal, the Prime Minister is anticipated to engage with the MPs seated at each table.
The Prime Minister met NDA MPs earlier this week on the government’s strategy, emphasizing goals related to governance and public welfare. It is anticipated that additional direction and guidance will be discussed during the dinner meeting.
According to sources, the planned meal is intended to serve as a forum for candid and fruitful dialogue amongst alliance partners.
Additionally, it is anticipated to provide the Prime Minister with a chance to discuss legislative goals, evaluate the government’s larger program for the current Parliamentary session, and strengthen the NDA’s overall political stance.
It is anticipated that MPs from each of the alliance’s constituent parties, floor leaders, and senior ministers will participate in the conversation.
Preliminary plans for the forthcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Assam are also likely to be discussed; coalition partners are anticipated to refine their strategies in advance of the pivotal state-level polls.
