As part of the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot‘ campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with Bihar’s booth-level party workers on Wednesday to discuss their ideas in advance of the upcoming Assembly elections.
The ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot’ campaign is an ongoing interactive outreach effort that aims to improve the party’s relationships with its supporters and employees at the booth or local level.
“Our committed workers have geared up with full energy for the victory of BJP-NDA in Bihar,” PM Modi wrote in a post on X earlier on Sunday. Engaging with such committed employees always inspires me. I’ll have the chance to speak with these employees face-to-face on October 15.
“My request is… all of you join the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Majboot’ campaign and share your suggestions today itself,” he added, inviting the employees. I’ll also speak with a few chosen employees personally about their recommendations.”
Dharmendra Pradhan, the head of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), declared on Sunday that the JD(U) and the BJP will run for 101 seats apiece in the Bihar Assembly elections, with the remaining seats going to junior coalition members including the LJP (R), RLM, and HAM.
Following several discussions amongst the NDA coalition partners in Patna and Delhi to work out a seat-sharing formula, the announcement was made.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan shared the NDA’s seat-sharing information on social media.
“In a friendly environment, we, the NDA allies, have finished the seat-sharing. He wrote on X, “JDU 101, BJP 101, LJP (Ram Vilas) 29, Rashtriya Lok Morcha 6, and Hindustani Awam Morcha 6.”
“In a friendly environment, NDA allies have finished allocating seats. This is greatly appreciated by all NDA party leaders and employees. He added, “Bihar is ready… once again NDA government.”
All 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly will be up for election on November 6 and 11. On November 14, the counting will occur.
