On Monday, Humayun Kabir, a suspended member of the Trinamool Congress from West Bengal’s minority-dominated Murshidabad district’s Bharatpur Assembly constituency, would declare his new political party.

The announcement will be made from Mirzapur, which is not far from Beldanga, the location of Kabir’s projected Babri Mosque.

He will also reveal the names of some of the district presidents and the new party’s office-bearers on Monday. According to Kabir, he intends to run in the state’s Assembly elections next year from more than 100 constituencies.

Additionally, he has stated that he is certain that his new political party’s candidates would secure a sizable number of seats in the Assembly elections, making them a factor in the creation of the new state cabinet following the polls.

Additionally, he called on all anti-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and anti-Trinamool Congress political forces to join him and play a vital role in overthrowing the existing Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal, without creating any space for the BJP to seize power.

“It is my responsibility to bring minority voters together. In order for my party to participate in the formation of a new government following the Assembly elections next year, we aim to win at least 90 constituencies. Otherwise, I might not be able to achieve my ambition of establishing Babri Masjid at Belding in the Murshidabad area,” Kabir remarked.

Additionally, he stated that his party will field candidates against Suvendu Adhikari, the leader of the opposition in the Assembly, in the Nandigram Assembly Constituency in the East Midnapore district, and Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, in the Bhabanipur Assembly constituency in South Kolkata.

Kabir has not disclosed the name of his new political party, but a person close to him stated that the Indian Conservative Party and the Janata Unnayan Party are the two options.

But the suspended member of the Trinamool Congress had made it apparent that he had two initial ideas for his new political party’s emblem. He claims that “table” will be his first pick for a logo, followed by “twin roses.” “I’ll consider the third option if I don’t get either of the two,” he stated.

Days before the foundation-stone laying ceremony for the projected Babri Mosque was scheduled for December 6 in Beldanga, he was formally suspended from his party earlier this month after receiving numerous reprimands from the Trinamool Congress leadership. The planned mosque will be constructed in the same manner as the original Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, building that was destroyed on December 5, 1992.
