On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the national celebration of “Veer Baal Diwas.”

The Prime Minister will also speak to attendees at the function, which is set to start at Bharat Mandapam at approximately 12:15 PM.

The Sahibzades, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the young sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, are honored for their valor and sacrifice on “Veer Baal Diwas.”

One of the most moving moments in Indian history is their early martyrdom, which represents steadfast bravery in the face of oppression.

During Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Prakash Purab in January 2022, PM Modi made the initial announcement about the yearly celebration.

The Indian government is organizing a number of participatory events nationwide to commemorate the anniversary.

In order to introduce children and young people to the Sahibzades’ heritage, these activities include storytelling sessions, poetry recitations, poster-making, and essay-writing contests.

In addition to online programs housed on the MyGov and MyBharat portals, activities will take place in schools, Anganwadi centers, child care facilities, and other educational settings.

Recipients of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) will also be present at the occasion at Bharat Mandapam, giving the day’s activities a unique touch.

“Veer Baal Diwas” is celebrated to honor the bravery and selflessness of the Sahibzades, whose martyrdom is still remembered by generations as a pivotal moment in India’s history.
