Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election campaign in Bihar on Friday by laying flowers in Samastipur, the birthplace of the late Karpoori Thakur, a member of the Bharat Ratna, as the state prepares for a high-stakes political contest between the NDA and the INDIA alliance.

In the state that is headed to elections, Prime Minister Modi is also scheduled to speak at two sizable public gatherings. The first will take place in Samastipur at 12:15 p.m., while the second will be in Begusarai at 2 p.m.

This year, the Narendra Modi-led NDA government presented the highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna, to Karpoori Thakur, the chief minister of Bihar in the 1970s.

PM Modi’s rallies are expected to be important occasions in the BJP’s Bihar election campaign for the next Assembly elections.

With four massive rallies scheduled around Bihar on Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also expected to spearhead the BJP’s campaign effort.

PM Modi is anticipated to send a strong message to the Opposition INDIA alliance and exhort people to back NDA candidates during his speech.

With his impending visit, PM Modi will make his first campaign appearance in Bihar since the poll announcement dates.

During his two October visits, he will speak at public gatherings in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra on October 24 and October 30, respectively.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, will also host two significant electoral rallies on Friday: one in Buxar and one in Siwan.

After addressing a rally at Taraiya (Chhapra) during his previous three-day journey from October 16 to 18, this will be Union Minister Shah’s second trip to Bihar in a week.

The state leadership of the BJP has finished all the preparations for PM Modi and Amit Shah’s high-profile trips, and local units have been mobilized to guarantee a sizable turnout.

It is anticipated that PM Modi and Amit Shah’s rallies will greatly intensify the state’s political climate and boost the NDA campaign.

Mahagathbandhan, the Grand Alliance, is also preparing for a vigorous campaign in the meantime.

Former Bihar Chief Minister and well-known socialist Karpoori Thakur is renowned for his commitment to social justice and the advancement of underprivileged groups. His backward class reservations and other policies have had a long-lasting effect on the state.

The state’s citizens will not forget the ‘Jungle Raj’ era for the next century, Prime Minister Modi said in a scathing attack on the opposition in Bihar earlier on Thursday.

He asserted that the public would never forgive the opposition for its previous transgressions, regardless of how hard it attempts to hide them.

The Prime Minister’s comments were made the same day Tejashwi Yadav was declared the Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial nominee for the next Bihar Assembly election.

PM Modi referred to the opposition gathering as a “Lathbandhan” (stick alliance) rather than a “Mahagathbandhan,” claiming that nearly all of its notable leaders, from Delhi to Bihar, are currently free on bail.

The Prime Minister called on BJP activists to remind Bihar’s youth about the gloomy days of Jungle Raj in an audio conference at the “Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot Yuva Samvad” campaign.

“Assemble young people at each booth and ask local elders to tell tales of the horrors that took place during that time. PM Modi stated that the people of Bihar must never forget those times.

The Prime Minister emphasized the advancements made in Bihar during the NDA government’s rule, stating that stable governments at the federal and state levels are responsible for the state’s current rapid development.

“New railway lines are being established, hospitals and schools are being developed. Stability and sound governance are the reasons for our progress,” he continued.

According to PM Modi, Bihar has accelerated under the NDA government’s leadership, and the state’s youth are now upbeat and enthusiastic about its future.

As he wrapped up his remarks on Thursday, the prime minister said he was confident that when the BJP-led NDA is reelected on November 14, a new era of women’s empowerment will start in Bihar.
