According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the NDA administration has redefined women-led development over the past 11 years, and these women are inspiring and succeeding.

The Prime Minister said the efforts have enabled women to follow their aspirations on their own terms, marking the 11th year of the NDA administration at the Center.

“The NDA Government has redefined women-led development over the last 11 years,” he said on social media X. The goal of several programs has been to strengthen our Nari Shakti, from promoting financial inclusion through Jan Dhan accounts to guaranteeing dignity through Swachh Bharat.

The PM claimed that many houses now have smoke-free kitchens thanks to the Ujjwala Yojana. Thousands of female entrepreneurs were able to follow their dreams on their own terms thanks to MUDRA funding. The PM Awas Yojana’s women’s houses have also had a significant influence.

He said that a nationwide campaign to defend girls was sparked by the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.

“Women are succeeding and inspiring many people in all fields, including science, education, sports, StartUps, and the armed forces,” the prime minister stated.

Additionally, he presented the comprehensive results of every program implemented for women’s welfare during the last eleven years.

The government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a number of landmark programs aimed at empowering women and rural India. In addition to meeting immediate needs, these social welfare programs—which provide clean cooking fuel, housing, and bank accounts for the unbanked—have helped millions of people escape poverty.

According to a government press release on Sunday, women are no longer viewed as helpless recipients but rather as powerful change agents who are essential to India’s development.

“With a bold, inclusive, and lifecycle-based approach, the government has initiated targeted interventions in digital access, housing, health, education, sanitation, and financial inclusion,” the statement read. Today, Nari Shakti is a nationwide initiative that enables all women, young or old, urban or rural, to live independently, with dignity, and in safety.

As women and children make up around 67.7% of India’s population, the government sees their empowerment as a strategic need as well as a social reform. “As India enters Amrit Kaal, Nari Shakti stands as the unstoppable force driving a stronger, more inclusive nation forward,” stated the statement.
