At the 16th edition of the Rozgar Mela, which will be held digitally on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand out over 51,000 appointment letters to recently hired individuals in a number of government ministries and organizations in an effort to speed up recruitment.

At approximately 11 a.m., PM Modi will speak to the recruits via video conference.

The event, which will take place at 47 venues nationwide, will involve hiring in a number of important Central Government Ministries and Departments. The Department of Posts, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Department of Financial Services, the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Labour & Employment are a few of them.

The new hires, who were chosen from across the nation, will work in a variety of areas, enhancing the infrastructure and service delivery of the government.

In addition to guaranteeing that government agencies have enough employees to handle the expanding needs of governance, the appointments are anticipated to infuse public administration with new vitality and dedication.

Launched by PM Modi on October 22, 2022, this statewide employment drive is a component of the government’s mission-mode approach to boosting the public workforce and generating new job opportunities. According to official figures, the Rozgar Mela has resulted in the issue of more than 10 lakh appointment letters throughout India since its start.

The government’s continuous dedication to utilizing India’s youth’s potential is symbolized by the Rozgar Mela. The initiative aims to encourage the younger generation to actively participate in nation-building by providing chances for career growth and structured work.

The Rozgar Mela keeps accelerating the hiring process and building public sector capacity with a strong emphasis on merit, openness, and efficiency.
