In the September quarter, Apple set a record for revenue growth in India: Cook, Tim

According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the US-based tech company achieved an all-time revenue record in India and a September quarter revenue record in emerging markets thanks to strong iPhone sales.

Cook stated that, in terms of retail, “we’re heading into our busiest time of year with our best-ever lineup” on an earnings call with analysts following the release of impressive quarterly results on Thursday (US time). We have launched new locations in the US and China as well as new outlets in developing nations like the UAE and India in recent months.

The iPhone 16 family drove the $49 billion global iPhone revenue, a 6% year-over-year increase.

“With September quarter records in many emerging markets, including Latin America, the Middle East, and South Asia, and an all-time record in India, the iPhone grew in the vast majority of the markets we track,” noted Apple CFO Kevan Parekh.

We broke the September quarter record for upgraders, and the iPhone active installed base reached an all-time high.

Cook stated, “We had September quarter revenue records in dozens of markets, including the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Western Europe, the Middle East, Japan, Korea, and South Asia, and we grew in the vast majority of markets we track.”

The corporation reported quarterly revenue of $102.5 billion for its fiscal 2025 fourth quarter, which concluded on September 27. This is an 8% year-over-year increase.

On an adjusted basis, diluted profits per share increased by 13% year over year to $1.85.

Cook declared, “Today, Apple is very proud to report a September quarter revenue record of $102.5 billion, including a September quarter revenue record for iPhone and an all-time revenue record for Services.”

“We were excited to introduce our greatest iPhone range to yet in September, which included the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, and iPhone Air. We also introduced the brand-new Apple Watch lineup and the amazing AirPods Pro 3. We are thrilled to be releasing our most remarkable range of goods as we approach the holiday season, especially when paired with the recently introduced MacBook Pro and iPad Pro with the powerful M5 CPU,” he said.

With revenue of $416 billion and double-digit EPS increase, the September quarter results concluded a record fiscal year, according to Parekh.

“And our installed base of active devices also reached a new all-time high across all product categories and geographic segments, thanks to our very high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty,” he continued.

A $0.26 cash dividend per share of Apple’s common stock has been announced by the board of directors.

Shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 10, 2025, will receive the dividend on November 13, 2025.
