Andhra Pradesh is still crucial to India-US relations: Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh continues to play a significant role in India-US relations, according to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday.

Here, Laura Williams, the US Consul General in Hyderabad, met N. Chandrababu Naidu, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. They talked about commerce, investment, and education, among other topics.

Chief Minister Naidu wrote on X, “We discussed areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, education, innovation, and people-to-people ties.”

“Andhra Pradesh continues to play an important role in India-US relations with its strong business ecosystem and vibrant Telugu diaspora, and we remain a dependable and future-ready partner for US businesses and institutions,” he stated.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan met separately with the US Consul General.

This discussion was held at the camp office and covered a number of topics, according to an official announcement.

Chief Minister Naidu, meanwhile, stated in another post on X that the administration is dedicated to creating a healthcare system that makes holistic wellness and high-quality healthcare available and affordable for all Andhra Pradesh residents.

“I had a fruitful discussion today with the Gates Foundation and the High-Level Expert Advisory Group (HLEAG) to discuss important healthcare projects, with a particular emphasis on the Sanjeevani program and bolstering public healthcare throughout the state. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Archana Vyas, the Gates Foundation’s Country Director, and the HLEAG experts for their insightful advice,” Naidu continued.

Chief Minister Naidu stated in an official statement that digital health records under the Sanjeevani project, which is now being implemented in Kuppam in the Chittoor district as a pilot project with the help of the Bill Gates foundation, will soon be expanded to the entire state.

The meeting was virtually attended by the ten-member HLEAG, which is made up of both domestic and foreign medical professionals.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of concentrating on technology-based preventive care. He requested that the medical expert team present Andhra Pradesh’s cutting-edge health and medical systems at the upcoming Global AI Convention in Mumbai.

According to him, the digitization of everyone’s medical records will be finished in a year, and the top ten ailments will receive more attention. The Chief Minister stated that the NDA government is striving to create a healthy, wealthy, and happy Andhra Pradesh, citing the success of the Mustabu program, which focuses on the personal hygiene of tribal pupils.
